Appointment of New Independent Auditor
The Company's meeting of the board of directors held today resolved to appoint its new independent auditor under the Securities Exchange Law. This is subject to approval at the Fiscal Year 2004 (the 41st FY) Annual Shareholders' Meeting to be held on June 22, 2004. The Company's meeting of statutory auditors also approved the appointment.

Masatoshi Yoshino, Eiji Miyashita and Fumihiko Sugiura will end their terms of office as independent auditor at the end of the Fiscal Year 2004 (the 41st FY) Annual Shareholders' Meeting. Therefore the Company is to elect AZSA & Co. as new independent auditor. |
