TEL Announces Consolidation of Service and Support Divisions
TOKYO, JAPAN - Tokyo Electron Limited announced today that, effective October 1, 2003, TEL will reorganize its service and support division, to be consolidated as Tokyo Electron BP Limited.
This consolidation is a part of TELs business reform currently taking place and is specifically designed to realize better utilization and effectiveness of business support, logistics, and other support services, and to reduce costs.
Specific organizational changes are as follows:
1. Tokyo Electron Leasing Co., Limited (Head Office: Fuchu City, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Masaharu Takahara,) Tokyo Electron Logistics Limited (Head Office: Fuchu City, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Takashi Nakamura,) custom brokerage function of Tokyo Electron Agency Limited (Head Office: Fuchu City, Tokyo; President and Representative Director: Kenji Maeyama,) and part of the administration operation of Tokyo Electron Limited are to be consolidated into the new Tokyo Electron BP Limited. (Tokyo Electron Leasing Co., Limited is to be an ongoing concern and to be renamed.)
